There is no notation enclosed with this compilation of Ensemble Tracks from the
Practice CD set. You will find the notation of all tracks in the Study Guide to the
textbook African Drum Rhythms as well as on the Practice CDs web pages.

If your system is equipped with a soundcard and an audio player, you can listen
to sample loops from each ensemble track on the corresponding rhythm page!

The rhythms on this compilation are made from sampled sounds of four djembes,
two bass drums and a bell. They have been arranged with the aid of a computer
in order to attain a clean sound, a fixed tempo and a very distinct stereo image.
